Pre-treatment contract for Yanbu 4 Seawater Desalination Project

Enpure has secured a contract for the supply of a pre-treatment package for the Yanbu 4 seawater desalination plant project in Saudi Arabia. Under the contract, Enpure is responsible for the design, supply, and commissioning of the DMF-based pre-treatment system package to be delivered for the reverse osmosis (RO) plant.

The plant is to be constructed in Ar Rayyis, located approximately 260 kilometres north of Jeddah, on the Red Sea coast and will supply 450,000 tonnes of potable water daily for use by 1.5 million people in the western part of Saudi Arabia.

Avtar Jirh, Chief Executive Officer of Enpure, said “Following the recent contracts for Shoaibah 4 and Sharqiyah IWP, this Yanbu 4 pre-treatment contract adds yet another major reference to Enpure’s list of successful track records in the Middle East, and we are excited to be an integral part of such a major milestone project, thus contributing further to the continued advancement of the global water industry.”
